Registered Veterinary Nurse
Contract: Full-time or Part-time, Permanent
Salary: Depending on experience, see below.
Location: Broughty Ferry, Carnoustie, Arbroath
Reference: RVN010 – Registered Veterinary Nurse
Are you a passionate and skilled RVN looking for a rewarding career in a supportive, independent practice?
We believe RVNs are essential clinical professionals—not support staff. We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive nurse who wants to fully utilise their skills, grow in their role, and be genuinely valued in a supportive, team-led practice.
As part of our team, you’ll have the freedom to carry out the full range of procedures permitted under Schedule 3 of the Veterinary Surgeons Act. This includes performing minor surgeries, administering medical treatments, placing IVs, managing anaesthesia, and leading nurse consults such as second vaccinations, diabetic clinics, parasite control, post-op checks, and more.
You’ll be involved in inpatient care, diagnostics, radiography, dental procedures, client education, and clinical decision-making. We encourage RVNs to mentor students, contribute to protocol development, and pursue further training—whether you’re passionate about ECC, surgical nursing, or consulting.
Enjoy a better work-life balance with our standard 4-day week. We also offer the flexibility of 3 or 5-day patterns, plus a balanced 1-in-8 weekend rota. This means you’ll have more time to spend with loved ones, pursue hobbies, or simply relax and recharge. We also have an amazing dedicated night team to help us provide 24/7 in-house care, so you can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep without worrying about emergency calls.
We offer a positive, inclusive team culture with flexibility, clinical freedom, and plenty of opportunities to develop. You’ll receive a competitive salary, funded CPD, paid professional fees, pension, private medical insurance, staff benefits, and a healthy work-life balance.
If you’re an RVN looking for a role where you can do what you trained for and feel appreciated doing it, we’d love to hear from you.
Options available for us to pay outstanding training costs with your current employer.

Dundee & Angus
Relocate to the vibrant and growing region of Dundee and Angus, where you’ll find the perfect balance between a fulfilling career and an exceptional quality of life.
“Coolest little city in Britain” – GQ Magazine
Dundee has received numerous accolades for both living and visiting. In 2019, it was named “Best Place to Live in Scotland” by The Sunday Times, and in 2024, the West End in Dundee was again highlighted as one of the best places to live in Scotland. These recognitions often praise the city’s appealing and affordable housing, strong sense of community, and access to cultural activities and green spaces.
For visitors, Dundee has also gained significant attention. It was named on Lonely Planet’s “Best in Europe” list for 2018 and has been called “Scotland’s new capital of cool” and the “coolest little city in Britain” by various publications.
Beyond work, you’ll be captivated by the stunning natural beauty, with sandy beaches like Lunan Bay and Broughty Ferry. For those who love the outdoors, Dundee consistently ranks as Scotland’s sunniest city, and the Angus Glens, and the hills of the Cairngorms National Park are on your doorstep, offering endless opportunities for hiking and exploration. And when you crave a city break, Edinburgh is easily accessible, with a train journey taking just over an hour.
This is a place where you can thrive professionally while enjoying a relaxed lifestyle surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
